Beautiful view of the sunset from my window. Super kind staff. The food at the restaurant was awesome as well as the service. I was there on business so I did not check out all they had to offer. Would love to go back as a weekend trip and check out everything there. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a nice place to take the family or a romantic getaway. Thanks everyone there for your kindness and hospitality.

Lovely little WV state resort park that is nestled out of the way and quite clearly under-visited and -utilized. We stopped in on a road trip to see it and see if we wanted to stay. Beautiful and well-maintained grounds and main building. Cabins look great nestled on a hill across the way. Impressive facilities really--looks a great place to hold a conference or retreat. The drive in and out is calming and pretty. I wish we had, but perhaps there just wasn't quite enough enticement to stay in the moment. Another day...
